I have recently had surgery on my neck, they fused 3 levels and got rid of 2 bone spurs. I just got my 6 week

check up to find that my disease has spread on down my spine. Doc says I could go 5 - 15 years before surgery would be needed again. I haven't told my husband. This one was so hard on him. Is it wrong for me not to tell him? Everything from this surgery is on track and doing well. Should I tell him I might have to do it again in a different place in the future? It went from my neck to my thorasic (spelling?) spine. He knows I have degenerative disc disease but does he need to know it has already spread?

I would tell him right away. I understand that the surgery you just had was hard on him. Imagine what it's going to be like if you wait until your next surgery to tell him. He'll be hurt and upset at you for not telling him sooner.
You need to talk to your family about this. Don't let them be shocked in another 5 years. I am glad that every thing is going well for you at this time, but you have got to keep them updated.
Be honest with him, that is what married people do. If he finds out later that you knew and did not tell him, he will hold resentment and distrust for your marriage and it could lead to him leaving you. At least if you tell him now, he can assist you in supporting you and loving you. He must to have stayed by your side through all this,.Trust his love and tell him.

Tell him its important to keep an open and honest relationship going with him. Especially because you are going to need his help in the future
