Can a person get bone spurs from their ankles turning all the time?

I fall quite a bit. My ankle flips and down I go. Lately when I sit for a little while and get up there is a pain in my ankles and it hurts to walk on it. It takes usually about 5 minutes of walking on it for it to go away.
