Bone spurs?

Has anyone out there ever had a bone spur (osteophyte)? Specifically on the elbow. I dislocated my elbow three months ago, and my physio thinks I've got an overgrowth of bone that is stopping me from straightening my arm completely. I just want to know how it was treated, and if there were good results.
I had a bone spur in my shoulder 6 years ago. The only way of knowing for sure is going for a MRI, or CT scan. I had my bone spur removed through surgery. It was sore for about 1 week, but after that it was good. Good luck to you.
A spur grows when a muscle is to short. The bone tries to make up for the lack of extension. You had a dislocated elbow. Have a Dr check if a muscle was damaged.
