Can bone spurs cause a curve in my spine?
Answers:
You can have bone spurs on just about any bone. They are most often found on the heel of the foot. Bone spurs on the body of the spinal vertebrae can cause pain. However, they would not necessarity curve the spine. It's called Scoliosis. I can be surgically remedied.
I dont think that bone spurs actually affect your spine...but check with your physician just to be sure. Curviture of the spine is Scroliosis.
Based on knowledge of my friend, whom had a knink or "crook-it"- spine , the way she stood, I know her hips and when she stood seem's as if she was sort of leaning all the time. As for the spur in ur spine, it could affect the way you grow -ur height for one instance-maybe.. cause of the structure ur bones in ur back and all will grow over time and how much stress is being put on them as a result. I know bone spurs can occur just about anywhere -where there's bone cartledge. So possibily- it's a chance if the spur grows quiet large or large enough it might inpend a curve in ur back, so that might happen, then again it might not-all depending on how big and where etc in the back etc spine. Well I hope it does not get worst if you have one at the momment. I know spur's can be taken care of if you see medical attention for it and have it checked out. All the best to you.
