This is a common problem. Head poked forward posture is the most common cause, and keeps exacebating the problem.
Postural correction is the only real cure. Massage , physio and chiro can sometimes even make it worse.
Stand up tall and try to always sit up straight with your chin slightly tucked in .Using the computer is the killer. Raise the height of the screen up up.
Pilates , Alexander technique and Feldenkrais are great for relearning good posture.
Dont worry about the spurs, your spine is constantly remodelling (changes every 2 years!)
Good luck, taller bloke

The spurs are produced by the body in response to load. Correct the alignment and problem solved
