What causes bone spurs? How do I know if I have one in my foot? My left foot is really tender near my ankle?!!
I never hit it on anything and the spot doesn't bother me unless I touch it or if I stand a certain way on it. It has been this way for several months now, there is no bruising and the pain is when I touch one of the bones of my foot. It feels almost like it would if you bumped a knee on a table and the spot is still tender?

I've heard of this and my mom claims she has "ankle spurs" because after sitting down for 30+ minutes, she limps around like she has a torn tendon in her leg.
Foot spurs can be caused by just plain being on your feet all day or a long time.
I really suggest going to see your doctor before it worsens.
I found a website that talkes about Bone sours in foot. I hope this helps.
