Have any one ever heard about taking more calcium to help bone spurs?

I can't find anything that says that a bone spur would be treated with calcium. It says non-steroid cortisoids and anti-inflammatories.

hmmm, I'd be wary of that. Wouldn't calcium promote bone growth?
