Bone spurs?
does anyone have any advise about bone spurs? I be having pain in adjectives of my joints so i saw the dr. he sent me for an e-ray of my foot and elbow. the results were bone spurs. before i could verbs with treatment i lost my health insurance and am now forced to self medicate or be surrounded by pain. to help with the heel spurs i placed arch supports surrounded by my shoes to take pressure off of my heel (work on my feet 8-10 hrs a day) that really help. pain releivers help with adjectives other joints except my elbows. the pain is almost more than i can bare at times. anyone hold any suggestions on what may work. do they make elbow braces for such things?
I cannot offer any suggestions on the elbow. I'm glad to hear that the heel spurs have dissapated. My sense though is that you, approaching so many others, are probably using a product from the drug store. These products will provide temporary relief from heel spurs but because they are made from rubber or gel they will flatten over time. A more severe solution is a firm arch support that will last for years. They accomplish the same thing but you don't appendage up spending so much money for replacement supports. The other suggestion is, if your job permits it, is to wear a shoe called Spira. The shoe have springs built into the sole. They absorb your weight so much that pressure is taken off of the heel and the rest of the foot.
