Bone spurs mete out my foot to swell?
I have saw the foot Dr several times over the last 5 yrs. He x-rays my feet. Tells me to lately excerise my calves . I work full time on my feet mostly. the left feet have many bone spurs on and around the heel. Constantly inflamed. one time he said if he operated , the bone spurs would come back within time. He said he really did not want to operate.
Answers: Hello fellow sufferer, I just turned 43 and the only problem I have is my right foot! I too hold a bone spur on my heel. Bone spurs can cause pain from hitting surrounding tissue, but the leading rationale of pain is not from the bone spur, it's from developing plantar faciatis. This can be treated by injections of steroid into the heel, which I had, hurts like he -l, but works,oral anti-inflammatories, as capably as finding a shoe with great heel support, using the heel gel pad inserts, ice after work, and yes those crazy stretching exercises. I have a heal spur last year in one foot. As a diabetic I needed to lug care of it. My podiatrist put me on Steroids for about a week and it went away next to no follow up needed and no surgery. Ask your Podiatrist about it - it can't hurt and it is much easier than any surgery. It is also wonderful that he isn't knife happy and is rushing to cut your foot! Good luck
