Bone Spurs on spine?
My husband recently found out that he has bone spurs growing on his spinal cord. they discovered this while ruling out complications from a gallbladder removal. Does anyone have experiance near this? we will meet with a back specialist this week.but is it credible he will get surgery? what are the risks with this?

PS: I have one within my neck I didn't need surgery, it acts up very soon 7 then, I had to get physical psychotherapy and heating pads, & rest. Hope your husband will be ok! BOL
one of my mates developed spurs on his hindmost after fracturing his spine in a car accident, and yes, he did own to have surgery to remove them because otherwise they can put pressure on the spine and cause further damage. The operation involves "shaving" the excess bone bad and is relatively simple (keeping in mind we're talking about the spine) beside a quick recovery. Unfortunately a lot of the time the spurs will grow support within a few years, so the operation is usually preformed repeatedly Spurring is; simply calcification of a ligament. Attempting to fuse 2 bones together. I have had one for over 50 years and have not completed yet.. No symptoms either. But stems from a herniated disc which has long ago completely disappeared.
