Bone spurs problem?

My mom was having some pain at her collective, after consulting a doctor, the doctor told her that she has bone spur. The doctor gave her some medicine and told her that if medication couldn't back to improve the condition, she'll have to undergo operation.

I did some research online. according to what I've found, bone spur cannot be 100% cured. Even after operation, it still have the tendency to relapse. There is no medicine will 100% make bone spurs disappear, if it does, bones contained by our body will disappear too!

However, my mom come accross someone making some paste plaster to be stick to the bone spurs area to "cure" it. I feel sceptical in the region of it. I think the medical paste comes fr soem sort of chinese herbs. They claim bone spurs can be cured after apply 2 months.

Has anyone hear about this kind of treatment, or is it true?

Answers:    Most frequently, people speak of bone spurs surrounded by the heel. However, they can also happen at the shoulder, spine, anywhere really. The problem is, we can identify them on x-rays, but it does not tell us if it is the source of the pain. Many citizens are told they have bone spures and go in for an arthroscopic decompression, merely to find out when they open the patient that there is a rotator cuff cleave.

This is why physical therapy is usually the next step if medication does not work. You have to put the collective through a mechanical assessment to see what types of deficits are present.

There is no one means of access to "treat" bone spurs, and yes, they can return. The usual progression of treatment is: medication, physical therapy, cortisone injection, and surgery as a last resort. Finally, in frequent cases, the bone spur doesn't go away, it just stops hurting after some time in some cases.

I'm not going to try to attempt to tackel the Chinese Herb cure...it's not my place to evaluate it's efficiency. Let's just say it's not part of the traditional treatments surrounded by Western Medicine.
that is a scam to take her money, only surgery can remove the spur completely and they can come rear legs and usually do.

lots of luck!

several years I had surgery for bone spurs and was without hesitation relieved. that sort of surgery isn't major surgery. as far as being 100%, nothing surrounded by medicin ever is. Medican paste? If it sounds too good to be true.it usually is.
