Does heel spurs disappear or it will stay forever in your heel bone? If it can disappear, what are the alternatives other than surgery?

They can "disappear" but are not gone. The little spur simply have moved a little so that when you walk, it no longer digs into your muscle. There are shoe inserts you can purchase that will soften the aching of heal spurs plus I found continual rubbing at the spot sometimes helps move the spur quicker. It's painfull as all catch out.
