Is it possible to procure bone spurs surrounded by knuckles from popping your fingers?

I've had this small bump, on the inner side of my ring finger, for a couple of months now. It goes surrounded by between the joint that connects my finger to my hand. When I rub it, it feels similar to I need to pop my finger and it feels uncomfortable, but not really sensitive.

Answers:    No, but you probably should not crack your knuckles. It's a habit.
