Knee problem: Queens County/NYC ...friend developed growth of bone spur on the underside of knees bone itself/?
Painful...Orthopedists tell this friend to get physical therapy. It is out of order and severe pain persists, pressing on the nerve.
ANY NYers or others any Orthopedic surgeons or anyone else have other ideas?
Answers: You don't tell the friends age. If it is a bone spur, after they can do arthroscopic surgery and remove the spur. It is a day surgery and can even be done while awake. I don't know why the orthopedic doesn't want to do the procedure but contact another doctor..
