My doctor have told me that the results of the MRI of my collar is a bone spur pinching a bottle?
The MRI I got after I went to the doctor for what started out as a stiff neck and contained by a few days was a VERY painfull hot pain going down my colar bone all the path down to my left forfinger and thumb. He gave me pain meds that are for long permanent status pain and the spinal surgon told me that the bone spur is stabbing the nerve that goes down to my thumb and forfinger that is to say now 100% numb. I would like to get rotten the pain meds in the long run but the spinal surgon said as long as the pain can be controled and in attendance is no further lose of sensation that it would be safest not to operate.
Any one have the same problem or know some one that has?
Any information would be helpfull contained by deciding if I should press to get the operation done.
Answers: I recently have a problem very simaler to what you have discribe and only 3 months ago own had it resolved. The bone spurs as it turned out was a symptom of a GI problem that caused calciam deposit problems.
I have found out that the spur that was found that also pinch a nerve with time turned contained by to many other spurs. My doctor also said he perferd not to operate at that time due to the spur was in a bleak spot and it was best left alone as long as the pain could be controled and no further lose of fell occured. I also was not fond of taking strong pain meds for any period of time. At the shutting down of it all if I had the surgery after the first spur was found I would own had more surgery later as more spurs showed up as time went by. I found out that the intention had something to do with a badly destabilized GI track causing calcium to be unevenly deposited in adjectives my body and finding the cause first was key befor have surgery.
Do not suffer needlessly as so many cronic pain victims do simply because of all the fruitless press about pain meds as well as untraind armchair law lords comments such as "anybody that takes pain meds for more then a few days is a dope go before."
The simple truth is The pepole that need it worse ( cronic suffers ) go with out proper treatment because of "News" inaccurary porytraye the proper call for and use of these kinds of meds.
I have seen so heaps pepole as a ( retired ) EMT needlesly go day in and hours of daylight out suffer. There are other ways to relive pain as well some with out any pills. Do not suffer needlessly. Just find a powerfully qualified pain doctor and have regular monthly visits to review how you are doing and the occasion of developing a problem is much smaller then the public thinks as a whole.
Bone spurs, cataract, etc. are caused by bad calcium management surrounded by the body, typically due to bad digestion and eating bad calcium, similar to Calcium Carbonate supplements.
When the acidic level in the stomach is not low ample, the chyme that enters the jejunum where calcium, magnesium, and zinc are absorbed, the calcium will not travel through the walls and is rejected and sent on down the colon where it ends up in the liver as toxic. This toxic calcium is then deposited within the body in many places, like the eyes, and as bone spurs. Drinking pasteurized, homogenized milks are a big culprit cause this problem. The high heat from pasteurization alters the calcium and the forced absorption due to the synthetic vitamin D added to the motionless bacteria, mucous laden, damaged amino tart due to homogenization, end product causes huge amounts of homocystines in the body and generate an immune response to deal with the garbage. Not a pretty picture. This is why most of the world drinks lightly cooked milk from cows that are free to roam in fields and eat grass to kind HEALTHY MILK, unlike the grain fed, commercial feed lot, feces ridden nurture lots where unhealthy cows are forced to take antibiotics to save them alive.
The bone spur may also be due to a bad tooth from bad dental work. I know this sounds a little bizzare, but this is more adjectives than you think. In particular, look at your #1 tooth (upper molar right side farthest pay for in your mouth( and also teeth numbers 4 & 5 (2nd Bicuspid (2nd premolar) and 1st Bicuspid (1st premolar)). Lower teeth, #'s: 30, 31, & 32 right side of mouth (back three molars) and Left lower teeth, #'s: 17,18, 19 last 3 molars, and Upper tooth, left side #16 (last molar).
If any of these enjoy an infection in them, you need to get them fixed or the problem may turn out, even if you have it removed. If any of these teeth have amalgam fillings or crowns, own them removed carefully by a biological dentist. All AMALGAM FILLINGS HAVE INFECTIONS BELOW THEM. ALL CROWNS AND ROOT CANALS HAVE INFECTIONS IN THEM AS WELL. These must be dealt with or you will not hold good mineral content in your body and bad calcium guidance.
Chances are, if you correct the dental issue, the spur may go away because you will eliminate the root cause. Then, money your diet in regard to the type of calcium you ingest and also fix that digestive problem.
good luck to you
That's a tough one. I have the operation because I didn't want to stay on pain meds forever and besides I felt limited because the spasm never-ever went away. I had it done when I was surrounded by my 30's, in pretty good shape etc. I don't know what your situation is but every surgery carries risk, and that's what you and your Dr. enjoy to talk about. Good luck.. i had boldness problems in y back and that left me paralyzed from the waist down if the affliction doesn't increase and it doesn't bother you just leave it alone. if you think you can pedal the pain then get sour the meds. the operation isn't a good idea because it's dangerous and could check out of you worse off.
good luck
