Please abet!! Bone spurs within my shin and foot?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I run around 2.5-3.5 miles 4 days a week and have just only just started getting excrutiating pain in my lower left shin and the globe of my foot, also on the left. It hurts all of the time and it really takes a great deal for me to be able to run even a couple of miles on it without it throbbing so bad I enjoy to stop.
I think that it is small bone spurs starting which I know is relatively common but I don't know how to get rid of it. Any suggestions on how to restore to health them? I would also love any advice on how to better avoid them in the future. I love running and can't envisage not being able to do it. I'm afraid that this might really lay me out for some time..
Answers: immediately catch a profile of your feet and obtain better shoes; they are vital if you want to hang on to up running. as of now with your pain, see a doctor.
You could enjoy shin splits and plantar fasciitis but you'll need to see your doctor for a diagnosis. Without knowing exactly what the problem is you can't really "fix it" yet. Bone spurs usually develop in the heel of the foot and Western prescription may use a cortisone shot.
