Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy is a technique recently developed to break the cycle of re-injury associated with plantar fasciitis. This alien treatment is called called OssaTripsy.
I had calcification of my rotor cuff: shoulder and used Lithotripsy device to break it up so my body could reabsorb it. Best of Luck
A bone spur (osteophyte) is a bony growth formed on normal bone. Most people think of something sharp when they deliberate of a "spur," but a bone spur is just extra bone. It’s usually smooth, but it can cause wear and tear or torment if it presses or rubs on other bones or soft tissues such as ligaments, tendons, or nerves in the body. Common places for bone spurs include the spine, shoulders, hands, hips, knees, and feet.

I have them in my heel of my foot and I had a shot to help it. The first one did not work because you are suppose to stay past its sell-by date you foot for so long and I did not. But the second one worked wonders. That was 25 years ago and no problem since.

Bone growths that become sharp and cause a lot of dull pain.

The only way to get rid of them is to own surgery. You can, however, go to a podiatrist, and have him relieve the pain near a shot. If the spurs are too bad or too numerous, I would suggest having the surgery.
