What is it I be aware of below the skin on my paw? Chipped bone or bone spur?
On the outside of the thumb, there is a bump under the skin that feels approaching a chipped bone. It's been there for months and only hurts when I bump it. It's pretty small, but noticable. You can see it when I bend my thumb. It seem to move under my skin when I press on it. Also, yesterday I tried pulling up on the skin, and it almost felt like the it be attached to something! It pulled up with the skin but I felt something beneath it. Could this be a bone spur?
