I have really bad heel spurs.?
And sometimnes it feels like my ankle and foot is sprained, walking is very painful, do i qualify for a handicap sticker for my car ?
Answers:
Heel Spurs can be painful, and you should try to stay off your feet as much as possible, Anti inflammatory, and pain medicines if prescribed, you should consult a doctor, but a handicapped sticker for the car, may be difficult, you should not be driving if you are in that much pain, and if you must walk, you could use crutches, or a run a bout. A Temporary sticker could be issued but not abused, call the DMV, and ask them how you would apply.
Are you really in pain or do you just want a handicap sticker for your car?
I think your ulterior motive shines through with the second part of your question.
Ouch! Nope.
yes
A temp. one. My neighbor has the same thing and she got a temp. sticker. She is going in for surgery to get them removed. Also, she has had cortosone shots put in her heel. Maybe if the shot doesn't help you can ask your Dr. for a perm. sticker.
Talk with your doctor about it. It will be up to them if you qualify or not. I have a life time placard. I had to get a note from my doctor and turn it into the DMV to get it.
I'm not real sure...i am on disability and i have one but i'm not sure about bad heel spurs...have you gone to the doctor? You need to go to the dr., this friend of mine went and they said he just had torn ligaments and all along he had a broken heel! Now he has to wear a boot brace..and i doublt it's gonna heal properly.....so go to a dr. right away and get it checked!
