I think I have heel spurs, not sure. Do they go away by themself or will I need to get that shot in my feet?

Answers:
For many people, the pain will subside on it's own. Others have good relief with gel heel cups or addressing any other abnormal foot anomaliy. A small percentage will not get well on their own and will do well with a course of physical therapy or injections. An even smaller percentage will need surgery.
You probably have plantar fascitis Inflammation of the tissue under your heel
Buy some Dr Scholls gel pads. It should help
I have never heard of them going away by themselves ! My Friend had a bone spur and had to have an operation to have it removed!!
I bought MBT shoes (Masai Barefoot Technology) which are very expensive, but they were designed for people who have had foot or knee surgery, and since I got them, I don't need my orthodics in my shoes and my heal spurs have not bothered me at all. They cost about $250.00, but were worth every penny of it. I have gotten rid of almost every other pair of my shoes since then, and bought two other pairs and this is all I wear now and I don't have to go to the foot doctor anymore, don't have foot pain, and my feet are happy feet.
go to the drug store and go to the isle that sell foot products and buy 2{ in a package} little sponge like circle like things that go into you shoe, Heel. you can cure it all by wearing them in the .. They lift the heel a little and takes pressure off the heel spir, I wore them for 6 months and cured,,, no more pain or any thing,, any time u buy shoes wear them for a while, some shoes are too flat and causes the problem.
Chiropractors can do much to make sure your body is properly aligned that can avoid problems like this but they are not feet specialist that is a podietrist. The good arch supports WILL help.
