How do you cure a heel spur?

Answers:
Treatment and Prevention
The key for the proper treatment of heel spurs is determining what is causing the excessive stretching of the plantar fascia. When the cause is over-pronation (flat feet), an orthotic with rearfoot posting and longitudinal arch support is an effective device to reduce the over-pronation, and allow the condition to heal.

Other common treatments include stretching exercises, losing weight, wearing shoes that have a cushioned heel that absorbs shock, and elevating the heel with the use of a heel cradle, heel cup, or orthotic. Heel cradles and heel cups provide extra comfort and cushion to the heel, and reduce the amount of shock and shear forces experienced from everyday activities.

If the problem persists, consult your foot doctor.

Spur's aren't fun, painful indeed, I suggest going to a doctor whom specializes in psychical pain. It's caused by calcium buildup, so it seems like reversing the cause would help reduce heel spurs or prevent in the future? I'm sorry I'm no help :(
Heel spurs are soft calcium deposits and can be the result of inadequate flexibility, being overweight, lack of good arch support, or standing too much for a period of time. My brother has them from walking too many miles a day without sufficient stretching before and after.

The best treatments are: rest, ice, and stretching.

I suppose that a good stretching book would help you a lot, but there are also many products that look good on the internet, I just noticed. I put one website below, but there are many from which to choose.
