Do you hold a heel spur or what they call upon plantar fasciitis?

Mine hurts badly. I have a dr appointment wednesday to get it checked out. I in recent times wanna know what you did (if you did anything) to help you out? It hurts.

Answers:    They are two different things. A heel spur is an overgrowth (or spur) of bone on the bottom of your calcaneus (heel bone). Plantar fascitis is an inflammation of the plantar fascia which runs from your heel to your forefoot, along your arch on the bottom. Without knowing which one you have, it's hard to furnish advice. There are some non surgical options for plantar fascitis (massage, soaks, anti-inflammatory medication, steroid injections, night braces). Heel spurs are a moment or two trickier; they would normally need to go contained by surgically and shave off or file down the little piece of bone that is overgrown on your heel; not a big surgery though. Your doctor (hopefully a podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon) should know how to diagnose it and put you on a treatment plan fairly easily. Good luck.
i had one for a few years. yes it is outstandingly painful. somehow the spur went away on its own! i have hear that taking a rolling pin and rolling it on the area will help get rid of it. not adjectives the time but i did try that and after a period of time the spur just went away. i havent have the problem for years now!! i hope you find a way to get nouns from it. your dr. can also give you different remedies instead of surgery. good luck to you. i know what your going through! Heel Spur Lithotripsey machine, shock roller therapy soon gets rid of the spur.
