How do I know if I own heel spurs?
Ok so i have had pain within my heels for like 2 weeks. I thought it might go away but it hasn't. It it mostly when I walk around closely, or after i sit down for awhile. I is mostly in the heel area but sometimes the arch. I how do I know if I have heel spurs or if its purely something else?
I had similar symptoms and was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. You do obligation to go to the doctor to get a final diagnosis & treatment (I got custom orthotics and they really helped).

Go to your nearest and dearest doctor and have an xray of your foot taken. You may also have a stress fracture or tendonitis of your arch. I sprained my ankle and found out I had a heel spur from the xray so not adjectives heel spurs hurt do some research on the net. if you can go to a doctor go. if like i said do some research for the signs and symptoms of heel spurs they hurt like the devil.. i know... first thing surrounded by the morning and after resting for awhile then get up and oh the pain... not much you can do.. right shoes, rubber soles, heat, etc.
I was diagnosed with heel spurs thru an xray. The throbbing was greatest after resting. After sitting for a while or getting up in the morning is when it was the most raw.
Shock wave therapy did the trick for me.
