How to fix a heel spur?

Im pretty sure I have a heel spur. Ive had this pain a few times back but it went away in about a light of day. Im on day 3 now and the pain is almost beyond the pale . Ive tried stretching and things like that but this feels like and actual bone splinter or something. I cannot afford to progress to the doctor so I was wondering if there was anyway to break it rotten. Ive seen that some of them are calcium build up. Can I just get really drunk and engender it break off. I cant wear a shoe or walk on the foot and the pain is 20x worse than yesterday.

Answers:    Heel spurs and plantar fasciitis are treated by measures which cut the associated inflammation and avoid reinjury. Local ice applications both reduce pain and inflammation. Antiinflammatory medication, such as ibuprofen or injections of cortisone are often helpful. Orthotic devices or shoe inserts are used to take pressure stale plantar spurs (donut-shaped insert) and heel lifts can reduce stress on the Achilles tendon to relieve hurting spurs at the back of the heel. Similarly, sports running shoes with their soft, cushioned soles can be helpful within reducing irritation of inflamed tissues from both plantar fasciitis and heel spurs.
OK, I know this one. Shoe inserts MIGHT ease the pain a Little, but they will Not make the heel spur progress away. Get to a Chinese Herbalist, Natural Therapist. This is Your BEST BET to Get Rid of it!! IF he/she cannot fix your problem, they will refer you to the appropriate medical practitioner who can. You may require Cordizone shots. These are Very Painful, but DO get rid of the pain for a while, but, only the distress goes. There are Natural Therapies along with electro treatments that WILL get Rid of the heel spur. Be Warned though,,, It will appropriate a lot of time & pain. The alternative is you put some shoe inserts in your shoes, live near the pain, & go cripple after a few years. It's YOUR CHOICE, But I know what I'd choose, again.
