I own a heel spur. It hurts my heel and also the bottom of my foot.?

I went to the store and bought some gel insoles. They feel wonderful. At least presently I can get around the store. However if I spend a lot of time on my feet, such as grocery shopping they still hurt. Does anyone know if I could procure disabiltity for this?

Answers:    I have exactly the same problem. Went to a foot doctor and he diagnosed me as having plantar faciitis, which cause the heel spurs and the pain in the bottom of your foot. I also have arthritis contained by my toes (old age-lol). I was fitted with two orthodic insoles and it has taken carefulness of the problem. As far as getting disability, I would say not. Look up plantar faciitis through your search engine and you learn more around it than you ever wanted to know.
I had the surgery. Saved my foot. They make cups you can use. See your doctor. You're kid right? Thousand of people have heel spurs and plantar fascitis and work! I know several nurses who are on their feet hours at time and own the condition.

You are are everything that is wrong with this country - looking for a way to do nought and get paid. I have have heel spurs and plantar fascitis and the pain was horrible, but I never even remotely thought about disability. Get up, grow up, and move about to work.
