I own a huge heel spur and planter fasciitis, will going to a chiropractor assistance?

I am very active, and although I do not run anymore because of the pain I coach 2 step classes a week, spin, and lift weights. i do not want to give any of this up, but can not seem to seize rid of the problem. I have been to a pediotrist, someone reccomended a chiropractor to me.

Answers:    I had heel spurs years ago and I be given cortizone shots in my heels that really helped. Did the podiatrist offer that remedy to you?
You asked for an opinion- NO.

There are Orthopedic Surgeons that specialize in foot problems. Overlap with Podiatrists, except the Orthpedist is an MD with special training surrounded by Orthopedics, who then went further into foot problems.

Often a properly made orthotic & a shot of a steroid into the foot will give great nouns. You cannot just go to a shoe store and get the orthotic that corrects your problem -- it have to be made specifically for YOU.
You may HAVE to take a break from you activities while the inflammation calms down.
How can a chiropractor oblige if a heel spur is caused by excess calcium that grew off the bone and your other problem is strictly a foot problem. You definitely involve a podiatrist. Maybe he can recommend some type of insert for your shoe that will make you more comfortable. Good Luck. try the good feet store
