I have osteoporosis. I have the choice between Cacit vit D3 or calcium caps + 1 vial of vitamin D monthly?
Why do I have this choice? Because Cacit is relatively expensive as opposed to the magistral preparation which is refunded by my health insurance. But is Cacit still better?
Answers:
The reason you have osteoporosis has really little to do with the calcium supplements you are trying to choose from. You need to make sure your body is absorbing calcium and that you are getting the nutrients you need to make good, strong bones.
To give you calcium in pill form like these without being informed as to what is causing the problem in the first place, is a joke and doctors either know this or they are simply ignorant and you need to find a real doctor.
Bones are formed as a matrix of several nutrients before calcium is even able to be absorbed into the matrix. As the bone matrix forms, it looks like a piece of coral with holes in it and is negatively charged. The calcium is positively charged and this is what attracts the calcium to the bone. The calcium fills in the holes if the body is absorbing calcium.
The type of calcium you are ingesting makes a huge difference as to whether or not it is getting absorbed. Also, the acidic condition of your jejunum is critical to the body's ability to absorb calcium. If you have lead in your body from any source, the body prefers the lead over the calcium and you will be deficient.
The right type of calcium. Avoid at all costs, Calcium Carbonate. This is a manufacturers dream. It is readily available and is from non-living sources, rocks. Your bone structure has only about 10% of it at most of this TYPE of calcium. Generally, this calcium is eliminated from the body as a toxin. It is blackboard chalk. You need dietary calcium and preferrably highly ionized form.
Cacit is Calcium Carbonate. It is toxic and don't take it. They have to add vitamin D to force the absorption. Ridiculous! You will get the same results by chewing up blackboard chalk.
You need to make sure your stomach is acidic. As we age, we produce less and less stomach acid. This is why older people get acid indigestion. The food you eat must be broken down with this acid or it will ferment, rot, and become rancid in your intestines and produce lactic acid that gives you the acid indigestion. When you have enough stomach acid in your stomach at the right time, you will not get so called "acid indigestion."
If the calcium entering the jejunum is not acidic, you will not absorb it, simple as that. Calcium and magnesium compete for the absorption in the jejunum. DON'T TAKE ANY ANTACIDS! Another drug company dream. These things create osteoporosis, blood calcium issues, and bone problems.
O.K., now what to do. You need to be taking a quality supplement that does not have the toxic tagalongs that pills contain and in the right combination so your bones will form correctly. Do NOT listen to some doctor that has no knowledge of how the body works and gives you Cacit to fix your osteoporosis. Really dumb.
Go to: www.healthline.cc (not .com) and order the following:
Betaine HCL -- take 4 of these after each meal.
Activator --- take 2 of these after each meal.
Digestive Enzyme --- take 2 of these after each meal.
Coral complex --- take 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening.
This is a balanced calcium that is highly ionized and is from a once living source that is easily assimilated by the body.
Bone and joint complex - take 4 of these per day.
I would also strongly suggest you take Nucleotides for about one month to boost the body into high gear to repair the bone tissue faster. I would take about 8 of these per day.
If you do the above, you will also find you have much more energy, and your bone density tests will show great results.
It really works. You will also find that you are having very good, regular bowel movements because you will once again be digesting your food as you did as a child.
good luck to you
