Why alcohol can increase the risk of osteoporosis?

I haven't heard of this specifically either. The only thing I can come up with is that if you are drinking alcohol you are not drinking milk or some other drink that is fortified with calcium to help lessen the bone loss.


I've never heard this specifically, but alcohol, over a long time of using, can do many bad things to the body.
