How do you know if you have osteoporosis?

Answers:
Specialized tests called bone mineral density (BMD) tests can measure bone density in various sites of the body. A BMD test can:
Detect osteoporosis before a fracture occurs
Predict chances of fracturing in the future
Determine rate of bone loss and/or monitor the effects of treatment if a DXA BMD test is conducted at intervals of one year or more
bone density scan. screen usually only given after 50yrs. of age.
You have to go to a doctor to find out.

But, I know for a fact that progesterone (spelling?) cream helps, and even increases your bone growth. Arbonne International sells some good cream. You should look in your area for a seller.
You can get an ultrasound of your bones to see if they are thin. I have had this done at health fairs for little or no cost. It's quick, easy and painless. It won't tell you if you have bone loss, but it will tell you about the density of your bones - if they are thin. It's a good place to start.
