Answers:
I think the words are supposed to be diffuse osteoporosis. The meaning of diffuse here is saying that the weakening areas in the bones are located in many areas not localized to one spot. This should be very concerning. The weakening of the bones is due to porous degeneration. This can lead to breaks with minimal effort and difficulties in healing. There a few treatments out there. Many try to get calcium back into the bones but I believe there are some 'hard core' medications that work in other ways (though I'm not well versed in that). I advise you to sit down with the doctor and make out a plan. He knows the full extent of the osteoporosis and can make better recommendations on activities to participate in and so forth. Also for yourself, there have been studies that show that this condition is hereditary so I would start taking calcium and vit D suppliments while you are still young.

Its not that serious... just tell her to drink a lot of milk...
see diffuse osteoporosis is generally seen in females above 50 yrs of age. This happens because of menopause n generally 50% of females suffer from this problem.there is decrease in bone density due to oestrogen hormone production is stopped.and due to decrease bone density the bones can't carry d wieght of the body but dis condition comes at latter stage so u consult your family physician n seek sum medical advice
