EAT CALCIUM
One of the most important things one can do is A) if you smoke, stop or don't start, B) exercise daily using weight bearing methods ie walking, running, lifting weights and C) eat plenty of calcium rich foods like yogurt, low-fat milk, and green leafy vegetables. Avoid going on crazy diets that will deplete you nutritionally and you and your bones will have a long healthy life.
