Can the hip bone contracted and reduced in size due to osteoporosis?

Answers:
No, however it can lose density resulting in fractures. If you feel you may have a problem with this, talk to your doctor about a bone density scan, they are easy and painless, I have one every year. If you are in fact losing density in your bones, ther are medicines available to treat the problem.
