Answers:
i'm 27 yrs. old and just had total hip replacement due to osteoarthritis, i can tell you i tried all the drugs on the market and they helped only for a little bit, after my surgery and 6wks. recovery, i feel 100% i would say get the surgery, it's worth it, if you are looking into surgery i might suggest a stryker replacement, i love mine. i can chase my 2 children around now without any pain. IT'S WONDERFUL!!!!!
There is a reversal drug on market.
It is called Forteo.
It is a daily injection that reverses osteoporosis.
Ask your doc... especially your ortho.
i dont think you can grow new bone with anything though some stuff says you can.
Osteoporosis is a part of ageing when we lose bone density. There is no surgery available for this. Calcium supplements help a bit
I do not think this is what you mean though. Could it be osteoarthrosis, the wearing down of the joints and cartilage. This is the main reason for joint replacements.
NDAIDS are helpful for the inflammation and pain but If you are being handicapped by the condition I would seriously consider surgery. It is the best treatment in the end
