Can donating blood head to osteoporosis?
i regularly donate blood every eight weeks, to save lives, and getting tshirts and time off work doesnt hurt. but i recently have a nurse tell me that donating blood leads to osteoporosis, as women tend to get it from their bone marrow replacing lost blood. he told me to cut down to twice a year if that. thoughts?
