Can you catch osteoporosis if..?

You don't eat anything with calcium and don't exercise, or don't get any sunlight at adjectives at the age of 16 - female? If i don't do any of that is there a more potential chance i could develop it at a younger age? If so, how young?
Just wondering.

Answers:    You sure will..lack of Vitamin D puts you at risk of secure cancers too...Your risk of developing serious diseases like diabetes and cancer is reduced 50% - 80% through simple, sensible exposure to natural sunlight 2-3 times respectively week.
Vitamin D deficiency causes schizophrenia.

Sufficient levels of vitamin D are crucial for calcium incorporation in your intestines. Without sufficient vitamin D, your body cannot absorb calcium, rendering calcium supplements useless. Chronic vitamin D deficiency cannot be reversed overnight: it take months of vitamin D supplementation and sunlight exposure to rebuild the body's bones and nervous system.

Yes, and a host of other health problems to boot! You could have brittle bones now! Yes, in that is an increased risk as you start to age hon. If you don't ever take in calcium, fail to exercise and avoid sunlight you are particularly predisposing yourself to osteoporosis. I would be especially concerned if this runs in your family as it does in mine. Unfortunately, I bookish the hard way at age 35 that I had 25% bone loss due to some preventable factor (ex: I avoided milk, drank lots of caffeinated beverages and my mother had severe osteo). Now at age 43, I am stuck taking boniva once monthly, taking a daily D3 calcium supplement and getting dexa scans (that is the bone density test) once every year and the osteo throbbing totally sucks too and its not reversable. Why would you want to risk that if you can prevent it? Take some advice from a formerly naieve person...get as much calcium as you can very soon! Good luck!
