Could this be Osteoporosis?

This is a bit of a strange question at my age - 16 - but i'm just curious. I've had painful bones and joints for about a year, tenderness adjectives over my body 80% of the time, especially when touching a bone, occasional cramps in them and i get soreness in my backbone. Abdominal pain, and fatigue are also symptoms, but im not sure if they have anything to do with it. I enjoy very, very brittle nails, as contained by completely bendable.

I don't have any calcium or vitamin D in my diet - i have never have interest in dairy foods or anything containing calcium, and never thought to take suppliments.

I'm not 100% certain on this, but i remember around a year and a half ago measuring myself, and i was 5'4. Measuring myself at entire full height now, im 5'3, and 5' when i stand as i usually do - which is with a kind-of hunched spinal column, and one leg bent. Simply because it's more comfortable like that.

What could this be?
This could be time to go to a doctor and have yourself thoroughly checked out. Ask your Mum or someone you assistance about to go with you.

BTW, Vitamin D comes on the whole from sunlight. Calcium comes from a wide range of foods, not just dairy... things close to green leafy vegetables. Don't go looking for a diagnosis yourself, but please do go visit your doctor, if for zilch else, to save you worrying about what might be. You know the fear of what might be, is usually worse than the sincerity.

Good luck.
I think you need to see a doctor and have a perfect medical exam and some blood work done. You do need calcium--have needed it for 16 years. lol I would hate to guess what might be your problem--but good luck BETTER HAVE SOME TEST DONE..THERE ARE DIFFERENT BONE DISEASES
It is drastically unlikely that what you describe is osteoporosis. However, you need to have a medical exam and find out exactly what's going on, and get medication or modify your diet as crucial.
