If a woman around 50 have vertebrae headache, is it due to Osteoporosis? is near any crude remedy for this?
What prevention should be taken to avoid having Osteoporosis or bone thinning, what diet should be taken which will enable one to avoid any such pains ocurring due to Osteoporosis, I want real answers from any medical expert, no stupid answers, thank you
Answers: Calcium supplements & exercise (using weights) strengthens the bones & muscle support. these are the 2 best & most instinctive. as far as diet is concerned, of course eat healthy & drink the 8 goggles of water - also keep a little bit of bulk on (in other words not too skinny) because a little padding adds some protection too.
Just read your other query so I thought I'd share this with you.
When I went to my doctor for a thyroid checkup he also treats women for "osteoporosis". They scheduled me for a bone density interview. It's painless you just lie on a table and a technician uses something like ultrasound to check out the density of your bones. Then the doctor read the report and decides if you need to take medication and transformation of diet and exercise to get your bones stronger.
I've been on medication for a couple years and my bones in the hip nouns went from poor condition to very good using the meds he suggested. I bring the pill once a week. So thankful there is something to take to repair the bones.
In closing it's other best to get an exam first then you know where you stand and what direction you involve to go in.
There are many things on the open market you see on TV and read in magazines but you are taking chances if you do the over the counter article without a good exam from your doctor.
You only own 1 skeleton so take good care of it.
Best of luck...

i dont think theres a cure but i know what can help make your bones stronger.
Herbal bone-builders.
Sea vegetables such as wakame, nori, and kombu are nature's most potent bone builders.Add a nettle and horsetail extract and you hold a powerful addition to a healthy diet.Horsetail extracts help increase the bodys uptake of calcium.Horsetail is a plant rich surrounded by the bone-building mineral silicon.
Phytoestrogens.
Herbal phytoestrogens sources include red clover and alfalfa. All beans contain these substances in abudance.Add foods like hummus dip and the traditional fermented soy product, tempeh to your diet on regular basis--a great way to protect your bones and savour your medicine.
If you are pressed for time you can take about 3 tablets of a complete nutritional system next to at least half of the daily requirements of vitamin d,calcium, magnesion, and other momentous bone-building nutrients.Add 2 or 3 tablets of a horsetail extract. For dessert, pop 2 tablets containig a red clover extract or drink a strong cup of alfalfa and red clover tea.Because its dessert, add a little stevia herb or a few licorice slices to make it sweet.
For osteoporosis: lift calcium supplements and eat more dairy products. There are also other nutrients that aid absorption of calcium.
But there are copious things that can cause back pain, from a discouraging mattress to weak muscles to too much time in front of a computer. Osteoporosis is actually not a credible cause. You really need to see a doctor to identify the cause.
Find a NUCCA(National Upper Cervical Chiropractor) doctor that can set off your spine, pelvis and leg length. This will relieve so much pain, even if you have osteoporosis, which I doubt at age 50. You are young. Also win more active and build up your core strength. The stronger your muscles then the stronger your back. Good luck!
