The best supplement or food to promote in shape bone growth...and avoid osteoporosis?



Answers:    Like the others said Calcium and Vitamin D..Vitamin D you can get by sitting in the morning sun for 20 minutes.

Best food for calcium is Milk, Yogurt, Cheese, Tofu, Spinach, and Almonds.

Along with supplements and food also remember how critical exercise is for preventing osteoporosis.
Soy is good or anything containing soy isoflavones.
Consider doing a google search for Dr John Lee and his work on natural progesterone which is said to be greatly good for promoting bone density and preventing osteoporosis. i don't know if your on birth control or not.but if your trying to promote healthy bone growth..Depo is the WRONG way to walk.
calcium with vitamin D3. take plenty proteins too. Nothing is better than calcium.
