Answers:    There is a great insinuation from the National Osteoporosis Foundation that you can review. Most individuals take one of the drugs in a class called bisphosphonates and they work to prevent bone loss and dull the potential for future fractures. There are several drugs in the class and a few other alternatives as well.
Have be taking Baclofen(muscle relaxer), Etodolac(anti-inflammatory), Calcium w/vitamin D and Hydrocodone (for pain) Although I not only have osteoporosis, I have scoliosis, degenerative disk disease & herniated disks x2.I hope this help, it's really helped me.
