A friend of mine died from spinal meningitis years ago. He took ectasy the night before he died.?

Did that help kill him? Does it affect the immune system like that? I am really sad about whether or not drugs helped him die so young(17yrs). Did it screw up his body THAT MUCH?

Spinal meningitis is not caused by using ecstasy or any other drugs. It is unfortunate he died the following day, but that is one of the risks you take when doing illegal drugs. Ecstacy does not affect the immune system either. It makes you act stupid (as any other illegal drug) and can kill you the very first time you do it.

Ectasy or no ectasy, meningitis can still kill anyone if they do not seek treatment.
