Which sports have the most cases of spinal cord injuries in the USA?

I need to know the precentage breakdown of which sports cause the most spinal cord injuries. If you know which part of the spine is most affected by these specific sports it would be a great help.

thanks,
Mark

I will let you do your own technical research as it is just as easy for you to use Google looking for "spinal cord injury athletic." I get over 23,000 hits and you'll have to choose the one that suits your needs.

I think you'll find cheerleading and gymnastics at the top of the list; two "girlie" sports.
most likely wrestling, because wrestling slams you onto the floor the most...
American football or rugby and i think the lower spinal cord id affected.i am not a doc just a general imformation
I'd say gymnastics is a big one. Falling on you head, back, etc. Very dangerous. People have been paralyzed by the sport.
