Does any one know about too much Spinal fluid on the Brain?
How it effects the brain, the body. The effects of if it has not been taken care of in like 12 to 13 years. When They measured it, it was at 35 and still raising. It is only supposed to be 10. I dont understand how it took ER doctors to find it and not a specialist. Do yall have any insight? And yeah I have been seeing a specialist.
you mean hydrocephalus!! i have congenital hydrocepalus and the build up of fluid in my brain is controlled by a shunt,i suffer from headaches and it has been bad years back, i no when the buid up of fluid has rocketed coz my mood changes and my head feels like it is going to burst..the shunt lets out bout 2 pints of csf a day back into your blood stream, but in my case as has happened it can go thru quicker therefore resulting in the bad headaches, there isnt enuff room for me to go on bout wot i no so feel free to contact me via my profile for more info or if you would like any questions answered, iv had this for 30 years so i no wot im talking bout xx
well, when uve got excess cerebrospinal fluid in the brain, ur intra-cranial pressure increases (pressure in ur brain) which causes headaches, mottling of the skin, and other stuff which results from the damage in the brain caused by the pressure. normally, the intracranial pressure is 10-12mmHg. in ur situation, yeah it might be congenital just like hydrocephalus. if it hasnt been taken care of for some time it may result to CSF leak and can cause further damages in the brain.

You have hydrocephalus and need to go to a NEURSURGEON ASAP! You need a shunt put in your brain to drain the fluid. If you do not have it done you could die.
