Is there anybody - EX PARAPLEGIC-FROM A SPINAL CORD INJURY THAT HAVE WALKED ? AND IF YES PLS.HOW?
Answers:
Many people who are "paraplegic" can walk. Whether or not it is possible will depend on the level of the spinal cord lesion and the type of injury. The lower the level of injury, the better prognosis a patient has of walking and performing normal activities of daily living. Some may depend on orthoses to control movement or position of the lower extremities and some may require the use of an assistive device (axillary or loftstrand crutches, walker, cane). If you are asking because you or someone you know has suffered an spinal cord injury, I suggest you speak with the treating doctor or physical therapist to learn the possible outcome.
