Is there a condition where your spinal cord has a HUGE hole?!?
my dad has been smoking for 24 years now, he has a HUGE HUGE HUGE hole in the back of his spinal cord. what is it?
i plan on making him go to the doctors soon, but i just want to know beforehand, is that a condition and if so, what?

Can't be. Spinal cords are not "huge".If it is not dripping, oozing or hurting, it may be an old injury, Ask him.
given the fact that his spinal cord is about 3-5 centemeters under the skin in your back, and protected by vertebrae, and that you plan on taking him to the doctor soon, meaning he hasnt been yet. How do you know there is a hole in his spinal cord? If he had a hole in his spinal cord, it would leak cerebral spinal fluid causing him a huge huge headache, and if not resolved possible brain herniation and death. I dont think he has a hole in his spinal cord.
all i know of is two things, one is called the Brain Hole Covering, which is normal but if to large it could cause major headaches. the other is Osteoporosis which weakens the bones and make the normal look to be huge holes. you can look it up on webmd.com
