How liong is the recovery period for a spinal surgery?

Answers:
I think the recovery time would vary from person to person. I have a friend who had spinal surgery and he was in the hospital for 3 months, also there's the physical therapy to consider. All in all, It took him about 6 months I say before he was walking again. And that was with the help of a walker, he still has to use a cane to get around.
every body is different. it all depends on how well you are in shape. the better your in shape the less time it will take you to recover. ask your doctor what you need to do to make a faster recovery. then follow what he says.
