Answers:
I have heard of this, your sacrum may have tilted a bit.
my first thought was sciatica-but I soon learned different.

..My friend had it and it was called Pelvic Girdle pain

I have not had any children because of a surgical accident, so i am unable, ...but i can almost understand what you are feeling

I would tell the dr, no need being uncomfortable for that little one :) and I am not minimizing the fact that it could possibly be a disk.
I think a visit to the DR is in order, I did find and article of a way to tell if it is disc related..

The paragraph that starts -
There is a simple test that will confirm that a womens pain originates in the pelvis, rather than being referred from another area. This is called the posterior pelvic pain provocation test. With your client well supported in a side lying position, with her painful side facing up, position her upper leg in 90 degrees of hip flexion, with flexed knee on a pillow support. With one hand stabilizing her sacrum, compress the knee and femur into the acetabulum. If this pressure reproduces her pain, either in the symphysis pubis or the sacroiliac area, her pain is likely to be coming from one of the ligaments around those joints.

Hope that articles helped. and you decide to see a doctor so you can feel better!
I'm guessing while you were pregnant you were slouching a bit and sitting on your spine a little because it felt more comfortable. After months of sitting on your spinal cord it began to hurt after all the pressure you put on it while pregnancy. I don't know how to help tough, sorry.
Glad to help, I had the same thing years ago. It is more common in men, but Ladies can have it also.
Look up in google PILONIDOL CYST. It is a deep cyst that is there from birth. You hurt because of the fluid buildup in the cyst, putting pressure on you.
Sometimes it goes away on its own, and sometimes a Doctor will have to lance it to drain it. Mine was large, and it had to be surgury removed...Don't be worried, if you need it removed, it is considered minor surgury, and not dangerous at all...It's very common, and routine.
See a Doctor...
