Can a man with spinal cord injury have sex?

A young woman I know is going to marry a man who is paralyzed from the waist down. He's a wonderful guy but, does he have feeling below the waist and can he have sex? Will they be able to have children? If he has no feeling, would Viagra help him? I don't want to ask her this but, I'm a little concerned because I know she loves children.

Answers:
They really need to consult with his Doctor. Spinal injuries can vary, only his Dr can really assess the situation.
yes if he just lay on his back
Depends on if his pecker is dead or alive. If dead he might look into get a pecker pump
No i am afraid that he can not have sex, not even with viagra, assortment of pumps or excitatory means. But children are possible. It comes in the form of an artificial insemination.
It depends on how serious the injury was. Some have feeling in their penis, some don't.
I obviously wouldnt know all the details, but i do believe its possible. I remember asking myself your question when i saw an interview where they said Christopher Reeves had a child after his accident, though he was paralyzed from the neck down. They didnt use invitro either. Their answer was that it was all automatic "down there". So i guess erections are automatic, as well as ejaculation.
