My employer didn't have workmans comp insurance. I fell off a faulty ladder and recieved a spinal cord injury,

now I cant work at my profession . how much should ask for?

My recommendation would be to hire a good lawyer. They have the guidelines to follow that would tell you what would be a good compensation.
I wonder if workman's comp laws are the same in all states... but your employer will probably be fined for this also. I would ask for your salary X the amount of years you have left before retirement. only seems fair to me.
