How soon after a spinal cord injury should u be able to massage that person(according to a doctor)?

I m doing research for a school paper and cant find the info.just need a liitle help

Answers:
Its going to depend on what state the injured person is in. Did they have surgery? Is there paralysis? If not paralysis , is there compression on the cord or stenosis... in which case massage is often not recommended. It really is going to be a different answer, case by case .
