Do you know anyone that has ever had these symptons: high protein count in spinal fluid, low grade fever,tired
This person has been tested for meningitis and doesn't have that. This has been going on for a year. She has also been checked for a brain tumor,and doesn't have one. It started out with her being so tired she couldnt get out of bed hardly for 2 days a week. She would have low grade fever with it also.Then it started happening more often. Now she doesn't have any good days and feels like this every day. The Dr.'s are stumped. They have performed all kind of tests and cant find out what she has. The protein level in her spinal fluid remains elevated all the time.She is now at Mayo Clinic being tested , but i thought maybe an indvidual has been through this and can help. thankyou for any help you can give!!

Although there may be no connection to the disease you are describing, my Mother had "roaming " proteins in her bloodstream which proceeded to deposit themselves in various organs causing numerous problems. She was ultimately diagnosed with Amyloidosis and treated with chemotherapy. It is not curable but they managed to control the symptoms for 9 years. She was 75 when they diagnosed the disease.
